I'm from The Bronx and ...Very interesting post. I'm from The Bronx and around here carrying and using boxcutters and razors is a sort of rite of passage. I myself was attacked with a boxcutter in 1997. On an unrelated note, I knew a guy that would carry a razor inside his mouth on the side of his cheek and when he needed it he would spit it out and catch it between his index finder and his middle finger and be ready to slap anyone who was in his way. Looking back all these years, maybe he had some influence in me studying knives and blades in general. I think I might start looking into collecting boxcutters now. Weird.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
